You're dead on. Amazing the dude has held up as well as he's shown so far. Lamar has and is going to take a further beating this season. Hate to see what his MRI's look like after the year.
As for the Browns? We need OT, IDL depth and a receiver that is going to make DB's shade his way. DPJ has promise but needs a TON of work.
Defense balled out, hopefully the bye week brings some sort of offensive creativity outside of direct snaps on an RPO to Landry.

Cinci doing much better with their draft picks. Baker not the savior, but the receivers kinda suck too in my opinion. No deep threat, or even someone to attempt to make a spectacular catch Al’s Garrett Wilson. Hate to say it, but been telling my dad for years, this team is cursed until the legend of the franchise passes. I don’t know why I feel this way, I just do. Feel the same with the Reds and their legend. No reason to feel this way, as I loved what they did for their respective organizations. Just my gut, I guess.

The receivers all of a sudden look really pedestrian. Landry is dinged I know, but there’s a reason they have 3 TEs out there so much, and it isn’t just because they like to run the ball…it’s because Bryant, hooper, and Njoku are your 2-4 receiving options…which is why it’s such a problem that Landry is the 1, because he’s basically out there to catch the same passes. Without a deep threat or even a man-beater on a 20 yard slant or out, the field shortens way too much, and Baker doesn’t have the accuracy to throw West Coast passes 90% of the time. Part of why Lamar is Lamar is that he always has a guy deep to Favre it up there…we seem to never have that guy downfield, or if we do they’re double covered or can’t win a matchup. Too many of the guys seem to be really raw (DPJ, the guy from Auburn, etc.)

I put a good deal of time into studying my wagers, unlike most who do it just because betting has become the trendy thing to do. No different than day trading sparked by the GameStop stock situation. Instead of jumping in head first thinking I have some higher knowledge, I took time to study the craft. Reached out for education and I do my best to absorb every piece of information I can in order to make smart calculated risks. Though I am more than aware they're risks none-the-less. I've had my share of misses. Some narrow, some where I end up scratching my head and going "damn, I messed that up". And if you've kept up with that thread you would know this. I take pride in my passion seeking learning for things I'm interested in. I take pride in that but display equal humility in losses and even in some wins. I've also made a profit gambling the last 4 years. Part of said profit will be going to a donation to BP for the winter drive. So your eye rolling of that thread is misplaced. If that isn't your particular vice I have no problem with that. But holding it over my head like it's something detrimental to my image seems silly.
Like I said, I see my measured responses in a field of "MoVe ThE tEaM" type posts. I also went and checked out The Game thread on Sunday. A swamp of WTF's, we sucks, etc etc. No real substance beyond just venting.
Didn't see you once in there calling anyone insufferable for whining. I can only assume that because I post shit that isn't the typical material, you reach into the cliche' bag and pull out the "know it all". Why? Not entirely sure, but we now exist in a world where level headed words and analysis is just not satisfactory anymore. And a know-it-all would imply I'm demonstrably wrong in my posts about the Brownies. If I am, I encourage to give your rebuttal in a detailed manner such as mine. I've seen your willingness to debate in the poli board, so I know that side of you exists.
But I've noticed anymore we have to shout nonsense, vague words that feel right, in order to blend it. I get it, I really do. If anything, I think your choice of verbiage is specifically targeted at me in response to my last post in the poli board directed at Dub calling him insufferable. Make no mistake, his posts almost all are down there. He types things easily dismissed by anyone with a rational mind. I...do not emulate his style. If that seems "superior", it isn't because I'm putting my nose up to anyone for any little reason. I just believe I can offer more constructive content in contrast to those who chose not to.
Over a month ago I said Baker needed to be shut down. Litlbuck decided to quote me and me only, calling me a "Baker basher". Whatever that means. Because apparently seeing someone struggle and saying their health is affecting their job is "bashing". I understand it wasn't a popular opinion at the time, but now it's so plainly obvious it's undeniable to anyone not named Stevie Wonder. I'd like to think I was slightly ahead of the curve. But nobody had an issue with me trashing Johnny Manziel since day zero.
Per my last post to him, I do not want to engage in his further discussion. I was respectful and wished him well, but expressed my distaste in singling out me only. But several other posters chimed right in after and echoed similar thoughts and he didn't quote them as bashing.
Hell, I'll offer the olive branch. I can see where my post quoting numbers would come across as snarky now. Wasn't meant to be , but I understand and I offer my apology to him now. Maybe you and I can get back on the right footing as well? But if you believe I'm going to just post nonsense and not continue to dive head first in detail about something I'm passionate for, (football) then I'll wish you the best all the same and encourage you to put me on ignore.

One, I really really really try to not let Poli bleed outside Poli. (and for that matter, I don't even know what post you're referring to, and I'm not going to go looking. What goes on in there is its own shit show, thus the 8 million disclaimers saying "beware, this is a shit show"). Also, please leave Poli in Poli.
But yes, it was snarky (and I think that's a kind characterization) and it a pattern. I have no issue with your opinions, but your opinion of your opinion is a little much. But yes, the interaction with Litl was on my mind, and if you don't like him singling you out, then maybe you should be aware of that too.
