Cleveland Browns (Finally drafting Buckeyes)

Texans vs Saints:

Carlos Hyde: 11 touches, 85 yards
Duke Johnson: 13 touches, 90 yards

John Dorsey strikes again! But hey, Kareem Hunt's coming back in week 10 (if he can keep his fists to himself)....

The Hyde and Duke thing bother me quite a bit because it was completely unnecessary to get rid of them. Hyde goes to a more friendly system more intune with his running style and shows
he can still be effective. Duke is still a quality pass catcher and runs routes better than most any RB in the NFL.

Meanwhile Kareem is talented, but your best ability is availability. I'm just hoping he can come in by week 9 and setup himself up nicely that way this team gets a good return on a potential trade. No way we can
pay both him and Chubb. And by the looks of it, this coaching staff has forgotten how to use the one pro bowl RB we already have. No point in paying and forgetting about both of them.

OBJ plans to keep wearing $190K watch in games

Cleveland Browns star Odell Beckham Jr. said that he still plans to wear in games the luxury watch that he sported in the season opener against the Tennessee Titans.

"I'll still be wearing it," Beckham said Tuesday. "The same way I wear it every day I go to practice, when I go here, I go there, been wearing it. Take a shower with it on. It's just on me."

NFL spokesman Michael Signora said earlier in the week that while the league has no rules prohibiting jewelry, it does have a policy "prohibiting hard objects." He also said the league would address the matter with Beckham and the Browns, who play at the New York Jets next Monday night.

Beckham countered that the Richard Mille timepiece -- which retails for around $190,000 -- is plastic and thus "shouldn't be an issue," although Beckham indicated he hadn't spoken to the league about it yet.

Unless he has some secret endorsement deal with the watch company and wants the publicity; why would anyone want to a $190K watch in a professional football game. If he wants to know the time can't he just look at the scoreboard?

Also, what's in a plastic watch that makes it worth $190K anyway?

Zero need for a watch in a game. Zero need to make an issue and take a personal stand. Zero need for any distractions right now. WTF are you doing OBJ?
Hope NFL starts a $25K/game fine... for him and anyone else doing such stupid shit
else ban him from the field when he has it on

PS Does anyone else wear a watch? or is it his position that other players wear all sorts of jewelry... which would possibly make his case

Perhaps he wants to challenge the play clock?

Not sure a $25k per game fine would have much impact on a guy wearing a $190,000 plastic watch.

That story about Kitchens not only encouraging his players to fight the fight Colts during a joint practice, but getting just outside the fray and yelling at them really set off alarm bells. Reminded me of that clown coach Brown on Last Chance U

funny you reference that as I just finished watching season 4 of LCU. That dude is off his rocker
