Cleveland Browns (Finally drafting Buckeyes)

If they do, so be it.

I’m just going to genuinely enjoy the fact they’ve handled their business against lesser competition. They can only play the schedule in front of them.
Oh, there's no denying they've improved. I think Stefanski might FINALLY be the coach to help them claw out of the depths. But, they still have a long ways to go. Yes, they're 8-3, but they've somehow still managed to be -21 in point differential, which is quite remarkable. And they still need a qb. Mayfield, while a fun quote, is not winning games against Pittsburgh or Buffalo or KC. With the schedule remaining, they're almost a shoe-in for 10 or 11 wins and a Wildcard. With the right draw, they may even steal a playoff win because the AFC is crap.this year. It's enormous progress and the roster has some great building blocks. But, they still have to get better at QB and a few other spots before they're a real threat against any teams that matter
Not really sure why a 49er fan cares anyway.
They've been my Sunday comedy fix for many, many years. I'm not giving that up too easily.

The Cleveland Browns, yes, the Cleveland Browns, now have a two game lead on the Ravens for second place in the AFC North.
Interesting turn of events.

On Baltimore...this isn't surprising. I see serious parallels between Ratbirds/Lamar and Niners/Kaepernick circa 2013. Greg Roman looks like a genius when he gets an athletic new QB to unleash on the league. Then the league adjusts and he has no clue what to do. I know Lamar was out today, but he has looked much less effective the last several weeks since it seems the league is on to how to slow him down.

Could certainly see the difference with RGIIIs rotting corpse in there...woof. To think he was Lamar before Lamar just, what, 8 short years ago? Is crazy...

He never recovered from that knee injury in the 2012/13 playoffs. Another promising career snuffed out by the redskins...err, “football team.”
Yep, I’m afraid the same thing will happen to Burrow...he got KiJanaed. As for the WFT, they don’t even have to get guys hurt anymore, they are ruining Haskins just fine while healthy.

Hard to believe, especially after watching these teams play in Week 1. Ravens played like Super Bowl favorites and Browns looked like the Browns typically do.

Personally, I feel like the Browns have no business finishing ahead of the Ravens this season from an overall talent standpoint, but with the Ravens roster seemingly constantly in flux and the Browns having this lead after racking up wins vs a mostly soft schedule, it is what it is. I still expect the Browns to lose three more games and finish 10-6 most likely. Baltimore has a cake schedule left but I think they'll lose to Dallas and finish 10-6, and ultimately tie the Browns but have the tiebreaker. However, the way the Ravens have been playing, 9-7 isn't an unreasonable projection for them, and it is difficult to expect Cleveland to lose to the Giants or Jets.
