Cleveland Browns (Factory of Sadness)

But it’ll make a franchise QB far easier to find.

It’s no coincidence Cleveland, Chicago, and until recently Buffalo never had a franchise QB.

Then you have other stadiums in the rust belt and great North like Green Bay, Jersey, Foxborough, Pittsburgh, that all had/have franchise QBs.

But yeah, a dome somehow makes talent scouting and acquisition easier.

Looks like the OH Legislature is going to change the rules for the Haslam's vanity project. They will increase the bond percentage of total project cost limit and probably also duration.

Can't wait for the rest of the pro sport billionaires to get in line with their hands out.
Until we start making the "public servants" start serving the public they are supposed to, we will never have any peace or piece of mind. The only way to make them is through threat of damnation and most people aren't willing to enforce that.

The only player I don't want at 2 is Sanders. Another fucking clown show isn't what these doofuses need. If, but the grace of God, they don't draft Sanders, I can see them drafting McCord because, Cleveland. Or as Tib...er...Daimon said "Clevburg"

The worst part is, he has a nice skillset mentally and physically on-field. If he could drop the WWF style commentary that just pushes his "brand" then I wouldn't have much complaint.

*If*

Um...yeah. OK. This would be...really something :slappy:

Shock report claims the Browns and Cowboys are negotiating a trade for Dak Prescott

I'm *sure* that it's a "darn good source". The cost alone, regardless of what might be recovered from the Watson policy, would be absurd.

When you give Dak a decent Oline and solid running game, he can make it work. When you can't? He's somewhere between 2019 and 2020 Baker. Which means he's capable but then he'll do dumb shit for every 1 thing he does right.

Cleveland Browns co-owner Jimmy Haslam on Monday called the team's trade for quarterback Deshaun Watson a "big swing-and-miss."

"We took a big swing-and-miss with Deshaun," Haslam said Monday at the league's annual meeting. "We thought we had the quarterback; we didn't. And we gave up a lot of draft picks to get him, so we've got to dig ourselves out of that hole.

"... [The trade] was an entire organization decision and it ends with Dee [Haslam] and I, so hold us accountable."
.
.
.
Cleveland still owes Watson $46 million in each of the next two seasons.

The Browns' quarterback room currently consists of Watson and Kenny Pickett, whom the team traded for in mid-March. Browns coach Kevin Stefanski said Pickett will get an opportunity to compete to start in 2025.

Despite the admission that the Watson trade was unsuccessful, Haslam said the team is not tied to taking a quarterback with the second overall pick in the 2025 NFL draft.

"It would be great if we could get 'the quarterback,' but we're not going to force it," Haslam said. "We're going to be patient and we're going to try to accumulate as many really good football players as we can."
