Tim Montgomery says Josh Gordon still in rehab but hopes to be reinstated soon: 'He's coming'

Maybe Josh Gordon's NFL career isn't over just yet. On Tuesday, Tim Montgomery -- a former Olympic Gold medalist who is working with the suspended Browns receiver -- told Cleveland.com that he expects Gordon to be reinstated soon.

"He's coming," Montgomery said. "I think he's going to be there this season."

I would really have to think long and hard if I were the Browns about bringing back Gordon. I know you can never know a person is clean after an extensive drug problem but I would hate just to give that type of talent away for nothing. Maybe if I could get something for him I would trade him but I would really have to think about it.

I'm sure that's exactly their plan. Try to incorporate him back into the team and offense, show him the young weapons and QB that he can grow with. If he goes sideways again it likely means his career is over anyway so nothing lost nothing gained.
