This is the Browns so I'd be shocked if they end up starting fewer than 3 QB's this season. I see this move going a couple ways. Best case is they are throwing Osweiler out there hoping he shows well during the preseason and someone is willing to trade for him if/when their QB goes down. I'm sure the Browns would be happy if they could eat less than 16 mil and or get another pick out of him. Osweiler is the most experienced QB on the team and if Jackson can make Andy Dalton look like an above average QB Osweiler has a chance to show well. Osweiler has also proven pretty durable so maybe they are hoping he can save Kizer until later in the season. Baring Osweiler setting the world on fire Kizer has to get some starts this season so that they can see what they have in him. If this is another #1 pick kind of a season they need to find a starting QB in the draft next year, but next year is always a QB loaded draft until you get there and they all suck.

Has anybody looked at Jets roster? They might make last year's clowns look like the '89 Niners. Nobody is, um, beating them for the #1 pick.

Look who Hackysack/Petty/McCown will be throwing to...cripes. at least the clowns had Barnidge and Pryor. The Jets have NO ONE. Also, the clowns had at least a semi-competent OL, the Jets have five swing gates. They will likely be historically awful.

They lost their best WR for the year too I think. They may very well out-tank the 16 Clowns

They did, Onunwa (sp?). The only other names they have I recognize are Jalin Marshall, who I think is suspended, and Marquess Wilson, who was pretty good at Wazzou, but has done bupkis in the NFL. Add in turds at QB and a sieve OL and they may challenge the '92 Seahawks for the most futile offense ever. I'm not sure Hack 'n Sacked can hold Stan Gelbaugh's jock, though.

So, this led me to look up the worst NFL offenses ever, and holy hell, the '77 Bucs...

103 points or 7.4 ppg (56 of those points came in two games)
Averaged 122.4 pass yards/ game
3 pass TDs vs 30 interceptions with a 40.8% completion percentage
Scored in double figures just 4 times
Shut out 6 times
Scored 7 offensive TDs ALL YEAR
Started some dude named Randy Hedberg of Minot State 4 times, stats:
27.8% completion pct, 244 yards, 0 td, 10 int :slappy:

That will be hard to ever match.

Google Randy Hedberg. He's still around kinda. He has a protege Browns fans are familiar with.

I just watched a replay of the draft. The Browns did so well, it was an epic night. Kevin Costner and Jennifer Garner worked so well together. i love the way they worked the Seattle Seahawks at the end.

Edit: Wait, that was a fictional movie????
