Cleveland Browns (2016 thread of unrelenting dumpster conflagration)

I think the Browns grab a QB somewhere along the line. It wouldn't surprise me in the least to see them take Lynch with their first pick. I'm hoping they will wait until later. I think he can be had in the 2nd round easily enough.

No thanks. The Browns should pull out the tape of the Houston-Memphis game from this past season.. I mean there is development that is needed and then there is development

I can see a situation where Hackenberg could be fixed. Cleveland probably isn't it.....but I bet it exists somewhere.

At least it would keep him from spawning any more Pedsters?

Please, please, please no Lynch in the second round. The last thing I want to do is watch the first round, hear all night afterwards about all of the talented and best players still on the board after round 1, see the Browns have the first shot at all of them the next day and then after the waiting, open up the second round by picking Lynch and then wait until pick 65 to hope they redeem themselves. Only one of the top 60 or so non QBs is not how this mess gets cleaned up. Spending he number 32 overall on Lynch would be so Cleveland.

Lynch wont make it past the first round... only question is if teams go bat[Mark May] and take Cook & Hackenburg
I guess if I had to pick out of those 3 I would take Cook. I know that he does not have a very "strong" arm but at least he came out of a NFL system but I guess that is about it. Also, let me clarify that I would not take any of them until the third round or maybe even later.

Probably, the best solution for the Browns is not to draft anyone, not just a QB, but anyone. Just pass.

They should trade all of their picks every year for future picks until at some point, 15 years in the future, the result is them having every pick in the first round. It's not as if they would be any good by drafting every year until then.

I'd take a QB in this order

Paxton Lynch
Cardale Jones
Dak Prescott
Kevin Hogan
Brandon Allen
Jacoby Brissett
Brandon Doughty
Nate Sudfeld
Cody Kessler
Jeff Driskel
Jake Coker
Vernon Adams Jr.
Christian Hackenberg
Connor Cook

yes Cook has bust written all over him.. but someone will take him in the first or 2nd.. I just hope its not the Browns.
