Cleveland Browns (2014 Season)

Don't see the issue, he's a shitbag. Urine isn't a permanent defacing. It's not like they took a sledgehammer to his headstone or graffiti or something.
If I ever find myself in Baltimore, this would be on my list of things to do.
As far as I'm concerned, anytime Cleveland fans visit that shithole city for an away game they should consider going as groups to pay their respects to this scumbag.

Report: NFL Drug Testing Is Screwed Up And Screwed Josh Gordon

Urine samples routinely are split into two bottles, the "A" bottle and the "B" bottle. If the "A" bottle generates a positive result, the "B" bottle is tested. Amazingly, the "B" bottle doesn't have to independently show a violation. Instead, the substance abuse policy states that the "'B' bottle Test need only show that the substance, revealed in the 'A' bottle Test, is evident to the 'limits of detection' to confirm the results of the 'A' bottle Test."

[...]

For Gordon, the "A" bottle showed a concentration of 16 ng/ml, only one nanogram per milliliter above the limits of 15. The "B" bottle showed a concentration of 13.6 ng/ml — less than the threshold.

And keep in mind he hired the same attorney that got Richard Sherman off...

If he plays this season, it'll be a minor miracle. Even if he isn't suspended, he needs to get his head screwed on straight before he even thinks about stepping on a football field again. If he doesn't get some serious help, this pattern will just keep repeating itself...as it already has.

If what we've heard so far is true I'm not as worried about him taking it seriously than if he was out getting high every night. He's passed 70 consecutive tests and wouldn't have failed this one if they only took 1 sample instead of dividing it in to. I'd feel better if the NFL used the same 10x higher standards as the Olympics.

I'm not denying that Gordon needs to stop hanging out with guys that think it's smart to smoke pot around him and not drink and drive. The worst thing that could happen to Gordon would be getting suspended for the whole year since he wouldn't be allowed to be around the team. I think a lesser suspension would allow him to stay in Cleveland while he serves it.
