Cleveland Browns (2014 Season)

The OL had a better showing in the second half, again that was with McCoy sitting a few plays. All three of our backs seem to have a hot hand and thats about it.
Pettine sat Crow because he values ball security and that was his issue this week in practice. I don't expect Tate to be back next year either with a full year under our rookie RB's belt(s).

You make a fine point, our best offensive weapon has been suspended in all our games and our second best can't seem to stay healthy.

I think Thursday will be a pretty close game. I don't expect a win, I'll be pleasantly surprised if we win.

31-10 Bungles or thereabouts.

Browns will win...Dalton pisses down his leg when the lights are on

I imagine there will be a high level of suck on the field though all game...I feel sorry for the rest of the nation

Then throw in all the injuries...yeah, it could be ugly. Gio, Mauluga, Burfict, Zeitler, Eifert, and then probably Leon Hall and Andre Smith (that is on top of Marvin Jones out for the year). Also looks like Dennard, Newman, Geathers, and Gresham could be out too after not practicing today...even with Dalton general level of suck in primetime (though he has done better this year), having your best 3 targets out makes it about impossible to perform.

At this point I have zero expectations for the team until we are healthy, there is just nobody in the NFL who can lose that many key players and expect to keep rolling. Nearly half our offensive line is out, both tight ends, our #2 WR, and our feature RB. On defense half of our starting DL, two best LBs, and perhaps both starting corners and a key backup in Dennard. However, I do take some solace in this being a home game...hopefully we can scrape together a win but I am not too optimistic.
