From the article:

On Monday, coach Rob Chudzinski defended Gordon against charges that he seemed disengaged during Sunday's loss and didn't fight hard enough to win a contested ball at the 5 on a fourth-and-15 in the fourth quarter.

Gordon caught only two of the six passes thrown his way for 21 yards -- and both of those came in the fourth quarter, one with the game out of reach.

I mean, "Thrown" is being kind, isn't it?

(and personally, the play in question, "not fighting hard enough" isn't probably the right way to look at it, I think he thought he had it... the guy just slapped it away and I think that surprised him, maybe go to get the ball a little more assertively, but, I didn't see it as an effort issue.
