Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie - he's disappeared in Philly, might be cheap. Not good against the run, but he's better than what's there now. Wouldn't mind it depending on price.
Chris Houston - would rather them let a younger guy play.
Sean Smith - Haven't seen him much, but from what I've seen he'd be a good addition.
Safeties:
Jairus Byrd - get him if possible. Ball hawk.
Kenny Phillips - injury prone, but good when healthy.
Madieu Williams - would prefer a younger guy just play and get experience.
Dashon Goldson - if Byrd isn't an option, Goldson should be the top priority. I love his game and think it would translate perfectly to the Browns.
Pass rushing DEs:
Cliff Avril - I think he'll get overpaid.
Michael Johnson - I think he could be a solid addition, but I don't see him being anything special.
Osi Umenyiora - bad dude for the locker room.
Panthers OC Rob Chudzinski will be the next head coach of the Cleveland Browns, per league source. Browns have not confirmed yet.
alot of the problems in 2008 were that Derek anderson really wasnt that good and had just a ridiculous year...we also bombed on a bunch of FA's and it got everyone canned...do i think he is head coach material? no...do i give a fuck? noIn 2007, Chudzinski was named the offensive coordinator of the Cleveland Browns.[2] That year the Browns ranked eighth overall on[Browns] offense, sent 4 offensive players to the Pro Bowl, and finished 2nd in the AFC North with a record of 10-6, their most wins since 1994. However, after the 2008 season Chudzinski was replaced by Brian Daboll as offensive coordinator, following the firing of Browns head coach Romeo Crennel and the hiring of new head coach Eric Mangini
