They need play makers, but they should be able to get at least two in the draft with 4 other draft picks that you would expect to be starters. OG and DE should be easy positions to fill with FA's.
Maybe I'm looking on the bright side too much, but I don't think they are that far away with the right moves. If I'm wrong and they are as bad next year as they were this year they can pick a QB with their first pick and at least he'll have better weapons to succeed. I'd still sign Hillis if he will sign for the right price with no more than 2 years. If not I'd look to franchise him and then work a trade. Another season of Hillis with Richardson wouldn't be a bad thing. If they do end up picking QB at 4/5 I'll switch over to glass half empty.

Matt Flynn's gonna be majorly in demand, but I doubt the clowns open their wallet to go after him.BuckeyeMac;2076258; said:Are there any QB's that would be worth picking up in FA instead of drafting one? I'd rather not take a QB in the draft in all honesty. It hasn't worked out for us since we came back as a team.
I'd rather pick up a veteran QB who has some good experience and pick up some studs at WR/RB, defense, OL that he can help develop

10-6 in 2007. However, all that season does is prove that even the worst of the worst can, occasionally, stumble into mediocrity every now and then.Jake;2076026; said:The Curse of Kelly Holcomb - when will it end?
Since the Browns blew a 12 point lead in the 4th quarter in a playoff game at Pittsburgh the Steelers have won 17 of 18 versus Cleveland, and a couple of Super Bowls.
Cleveland hasn't had a winning season since then.

They still wouldn't have a true #1, but Posey and Little would make a pretty good pair of WR's especially if you put a Richardson in the backfield.
I'd like you to name one WR that wouldn't be better off in those places, rather than Cleveland.Onebuckfan;2077987; said:Posey on the Browns? Does the word frontrunner come to mind..in other words he'd do better in a more stable situation like the Packers , Saints or Pats
They just drafted Gabbert last year in the Top-10. They aren't drafting another QB despite the fact that Gabbert looks like a girl.y0yoyoin;2076286; said:ya Matt Flynn but especially after yesterdays performance, regardless if it is because of the packers offense and playmakers, he will be in high demand as NFBuck said...Flynn would be a better fit for Shumurs offense then RG3, but the thing is how long do we know Shumur will be here? The best fit for this offense is Luck but we know that the colts will be taking him unless they are offered the same deal the saints offered for Ricky Williams...so we do know this, Colts will be taking Luck, Rams will probably be trading down, Jaguars need a QB and could take one, the Bucs need a slew of thiings so hopefully we win the coin flip and get the #4 pick so the reality of getting Blackmon is there
