Cleveland Browns (2011 season)

Owen Marecic. I like it. Marecic blocking for Hillis? That's OLD SCHOOL football. :yow1:

Why the fuck are they ignoring the right side of their O Line? They take a FB and forget about a RT.:ohwell:
Probably not going to get an impact OT at this point. Something they'll hopefully target in FA...if it ever happens.

There's always FA. You aren't going to get an instant starting RT at this point in the draft. At least the Browns picked a guy that is getting a special on ESPN. Time for some wishbone. I don't think it's possible to not like Marecic.

I'm not excited about the TE pick. I think they had a good plan up to that point, and then got away from it.

I love, LOVE, LOVE the Marecic pick. More than anything I want the Browns to be the team that is bigger, tougher and meaner than whoever they line up against. Joe Thomas and Peyton Hillis have been a nice way to get that started in Cleveland again. Beefing up in the trenches with guys who like to fight, getting a big receiver and getting a guy like Marecic seem like good ways to build on that.

Well.. if you look at Cameron as a flex type guy.. it kind of fits that too... he's another big receiver, really... the 4th Round was 500 lbs of offensive players that aren't lineman.

(Not saying you need to like him as a pick)

So, along with our new 335 lb DT... the Browns are definitely getting bigger.

I'll say this, they're embracing the Divisional model.

Ok time to go:

5. CB
6a. OL
6b. DL
7. ?

Some good LB's still on the Board... Greg Jones... Quan Sturdivant....

There's a big Tackle from TCU left that is graded pretty high... must have some issues though...
