Cleveland Browns (2011 season)

And Greg Little is an impressive athlete, but very raw and a converted RB. I do like his underneath route running abilities with the yard after catch threat. If they can acquire Michael Floyd for a second rounder in the supplemental draft I am all for it though. They still don't have a #1 receiver on the roster.

I will say this... Little was a WR when he went to college and then was converted to RB for a year or two as they had no RB options. Then once another RB emerged he went back to WR.

The problem is, he is raw, but talented. I don't know what it is, but people say he is a west coast style WR. So hopefully that is good.

Then again, I just can't believe we have another 2nd round WR, how many WR have we drafted in the 2nd round since we came back in 1999? 6 or 7?

This might be pretty brutal to look at...apologies.

1999: Kevin Johnson, Syracuse
2000: Dennis Northcutt, Arizona
2001: Quincy Morgan, Kansas State
2002: Andre Davis, Virginia Tech
2009: Brian Robiskie, OSU
2009: Mohamed Massaquoi, Georgia
2011: Greg Little, North Carolina

I wouldn't bother with any other WR's in this draft. If they can get Michael Floyd this summer I would take a shot at him, but they don't need another low pick WR. Give me a CB/S, LB, 2 OL, and another DL today.

If Sanzo is there in Rd 5, I absolutely would not object to that. I think he has the ability to be another Wes Welker in the nfl. But I don't expect them to select another WR.

There's been a trend with each of those guys (excepting Robiskie)...they have all had one good year that they never really built upon. Hopefully that trend turns now. I think MoMass still can be a good #2 and Robiskie a solid #3/Slot. Hopefully Little comes in and works his butt off because he has the tools to be a superstar in the nfl if he can get the mental part down. 6'3"/230lb WRs with his strength/speed don't grow on trees, and it's not as if he hasn't played the position at all. I saw him a couple times in 2009 on TV and he stood out in each game, including some EYE POPPING plays. I LOVE the pick.

I would think they might think about signing a veteran WR to kind of shoe these guys around the league... looking at the 2nd Round bust list, it occurs to me how few Veteran recievers (leadership) we've had... Jurevicious didn't really play... I won't even get into Mr. DUI... just a thought...

Anyway, I see- because someone mentioned it-- that Bolin is still on the board... interesting.

At any rate, I haven't looked but, I wouldn't be opposed to grabbing a RB.

This draft has been "decent" but put me in the wait and see group.

The UNC receiver is the only real playmaker so far and that's what this team desperately needs, especially on offense. Hopefully one or both of the first two guys proves me wrong. RT, another WR and RB then another DL, LB and DB.

I would have been thrilled if Heyward and Bowers were there instead of Taylor and Sheard. Plus they'd still have a third rounder...

I don't think there is another big receiver (over 6' 1") worth taking in this draft. After we take a RT, I would have no problem with a late round WR with Burner speed. Here's an example:

Jordan Cameron (TE, USC) to the Browns in the 4th.
They already picked one raw WR, now a raw TE? They need guys that can help NOW. I'm doing an awful lot of head scratching with this draft. Maybe they both hit, but that's risky when you're building...
