Clemson Tigers (official thread)

Are these all just trolls?

No.

I’ve walked alone at night on business trips in the streets of Manhattan, Boston, the Inner Loop in Chicago, San Diego, Little Five Points in Atlanta, Baltimores Inner Harbor, and Bourbon St in New Orleans. I’ve never been so terrified of being assaulted than the four days I spent between Charleston and Columbia South Carolina. Legit don’t know if all the stalkers and muggers that hung out in the hotel lobbies were following me to rob me or rape me. One dude literally followed me to my room and lurked outside my door for five minutes while I called the front desk and then 911.

Saw a high school classmate shot to death in South Carolina over a car jacking gone wrong while taking a power nap at a gas station on his way to Panama City, FL for spring break back in the early 90s.

The entire state is a irredeemable fucking shithole. And all you Ohio jackasses giving your tourist money to the Redneck Riviera that is Myrtle Beach need to fucking stop.

As a Charleston area resident for over 37 years I'm truly sorry for your experience here. Our time in Charleston has been wonderful. Certainly we have our fair share of idiots and ultra religious zealots but for the most part the people are solid citizens. If you ever dare come back you can stay with us and I'll make sure you only see the "good stuff". You can reach out to Osugrad21, who I hosted a couple times back in the day when my sports bar was the gamewatch location the OSU Alumni Club.

I've always understood the Redneck Riviera to mean Gulf Shores/Mobile area. Along the Gulf Coast.

Myrtle Beach is just Myrtle Beach.

Myrtle Beach is what it is ....

Gatlinburg by the Sea.

I operated a couple businesses there over a two decade period. Couldn't wait to get out. I call it the land of excess, with the business mantra being .... "If one is good, then ten will be great"

If God tells you something is ok, who are we to judge? Right?

"To have this opportunity to come back to Clemson is a blessing from God. It is a dream for most coaches to have the opportunity to coach at your alma mater and that is the case for me," Eason said. "I want to thank Coach Swinney for the opportunity to be a part of a program with such a rich tradition, one that has become one of the best in the nation... I am looking forward to working with one of the best defensive lines in the country."

Dabo: “And then obviously being here now 19 years, I’ve had many opportunities to be around him and get to know him and follow him. He’s a guy that I’ve followed for many years and a guy that I’ve had my eye on for our staff for many years. I just hadn’t had the right opportunity with the right timing to hire him, but, man, as we always say, everything is always on God’s timing. This was the right time for us at Clemson and also for Nick.

Just sayin': He must be a great hire since God was involved.....
