Clemson Tigers (official thread)

Exactly! If ND beats Clemson and then wins out, they HAVE to be in. And if Clemson’s only loss is to ND without Lawrence, the Committee HAS to put the defending champs in!
uhm... LSU pretty much made them their bitch last year in the title game..

Just realized how this will play out.

ND will win in two weeks.

Committee will give Clemson a pass because - no Lawrence.

Both teams go to the playoffs.
Fortunately for the Buckeyes, is if they keep playing like they played last weekend, that decision will be at the expense of leaving out a second SEC team.

First of all what AuTX said and 2nd of all not if they come back and beat ND like a rented mule in the ACC title game with him. Cause you know ND is ACC for real this year not just halfsies.

Yep, that or they’ll declare a false positive. I bet he’s on the field vs ND...
How about this scenario:

He’s not cleared on Friday the 6th when the team plane would normally leave. Clemson somehow needs to get him to South Bend on Saturday morning without creating an impermissible benefit like flying him in a private plane.

Do they hold the team plane till sometime on Saturday morning? It’s a 7:30 ET kickoff.

Yep, there are no divisions in the ACC this year, the top 2 teams, including ND, will meet in the CCG, just scheduled for 12/19.

I picture a Myron Rolle style boosters or schools private jet whisking him away to the game...
