It was a reference to his early entry. Sorry if it was confusing. I did not attempt to make it sound bad.

Wiltfong thinks right now he flips, but that Ohio State can turn things. From Clark’s father:


"We'll have a family discussion, prayer, he really likes the Utes. He's still committed to Ohio State. More discussion today but a flip is definitely possible."

"Nothing matches Ohio State's legacy in terms of defensive backs and we knew this was a possibility and they lose coaches like (Nick) Saban loses coaches every year at Alabama. They're going to be a wonderful program no matter who they hire, or does he potentially be a program-changer at Utah and go in and make an impact right away. They use that term, not loosely, being a program-changing type recruit.

The elder Phillips added Clark's ceremony is actually Thursday, the second day of the Early Signing Period.

"I think he will know what he's going to do tonight or tomorrow."

Absolutely NO inside (or outside, or any other type) knowledge, but those quotes from his father make it sound like he MAY have been looking for a reason to flip.

Eh. That's as good a reason as any to pick a school. If you feel comfortable there and want to raise the level of the program....and you and they both think you can? Can't fault him for that choice.

Sorry, but had Utah had a program changer other than Urban? I respect his father and all but come on dude. I understand this is the biggest decision of your son’s life but change the program at Utah? Really?

This would hurt badly but honestly if a kid wants to ditch the actual DB for effing UTAH then that's on them.

Go to the college football playoffs or play in the holiday bowl infront of 25k.

Come on Clark do the simple math here
