What makes that worse was that it was Myers who dropped the ball, and he has been playing outstanding - particularly his fielding - since the all star break. Just sucks.

None of those 6 runs in the 9th were earned runs because that drop occurred with 2 outs and should have won the game.

As to McClain, he hit the grand slam in the 6th to put the Reds in front. Hitting a 2nd grand slam to win the game would have bought him some goodwill given his poor season.

With a Reds pitcher that had a pulse, they'd have a punchers chance in this game. They are surprisingly working this pitchers numbers and he's likely to be out by the 6th. In no freaking way are they scoring 5 runs tonight though.

I wish I had something better to do than get drunk and watch this travesty. Where's @Thump mom when you need her?
