I think we are toast without McLain but this Seattle series is the last of the super tough schedule. Ours is easier than our competitors for the 3rd WC. Just avoid being swept and we may still have life over the last 20 games.

We're on the same page Brody. I was about to remark that he's on a tear again here in the last month. He's gotten a hell of a lot closer to Corbin Carroll than I thought he would in the ROY stats. Kid can play and should be around here for a long time.

Honestly I'm shocked the Reds aren't on a 10 game losing streak considering we're starting rookies and fucking relievers in 4 out of 5 games every week. Thats just ridiculous.

Add in the rest of the starting lineup is 80% rookies everyday and this team has no business even thinking about playoffs, yet here we are.

I just looked it up. D-bags payroll is about $29M more than the Reds and their top 9 earners are all payed more than Nick Senzel, which is our highest paid player. So basically their entire lineup is higher priced / much more veteran. https://www.spotrac.com/mlb/arizona-diamondbacks/payroll/
