Predicting they will blow a 1 game lead with 2 months left is weak, as you're guaranteed to be able to say you're right at some point over 40 games. Losing the wild card because you're expecting them to be shitting the bed against bad teams was not likely based on the way they had been playing. Obviously losing Winker, and to a lesser extent Art Warren, has made a major difference. Or maybe its just the Curse of Sean Doolittle. Either way, I don't care anymore.

I have never attempted to guess how they will fail. They are masters of their craft with a seemingly inexhaustible supply of creativity and will to lose. Trying to figure out how they will blow it is a fool’s errand.

Just be content in the certainty that they will always find a way to lose and adjust your give a fuck meter accordingly.

Fuckers are on a 9 out of 10 and 8 in a row streak including hammering SD along the way. Reds now 3 games back and the sorry Phillies caught em too. That pitching lineup for the Dodgers this past weekend was just unfair. Reds would have to win 8 out of 10 to stay close but that isnt happening. Fuck it, it's football season anyway. Ok so I got suckered in to watching the game today since I'm stuck in bed recovering from surgery and it was on in the background. There is no way a human being acting as a baseball manager can be that damn dumb. He is fucking betting and shaving points is all I can guess.

Bottom 6, 2 on and down 1 run. Got the hot hitting youngster coming up in Friegl and what does he do? Brings in Melky Cabrera's retarded little brother who is 0-19 as a Red, because he's a righty vs the lefty. Nevermind that the young kid hits lefties better than righties as a left handed bat. Take a big fatass Azdribbling Cabrerran guess what happened?

As the Cardinals are looking to win their 10th in a row. Pathetic
