He'll be 36 before the season ends and hit 12 HR's last year.

I'd say that's a pretty safe call.

What will decline now is his elite OBP because pitchers will just keep coming after him in the zone because the fear of his power is quickly diminishing.

See, I think you should leave his sorry ass on the bench. Then, he'll go 8 for 8 with 4 dongs and 10 RBI, prompting you to put him in the line up, where he will go 0 for 16, prompting you to hunt him down in a dark alley somewhere and do your best Sonny Corleone to his Carlo Rizzi.

I could see 4 dongs and a dark alley in his future (I mean hell, it's a Tuesday after all) but I'm not so sure about the 10 RBI

He doesn't have the bat speed to hit homers in bunches anymore. To go super-stat nerd on you, while his BABIP is .266 (meaning he's been slightly unlucky on balls in play this year), last year it was .333 and he still only hit 12 homers and 42 extra base hits in over 600 plate appearances. He is almost on the exact same trajectory right now in terms of numbers. He's a slap hitter now. The other thing is the Reds owe him at least $107 million over the next 4 years. The contract was dumb when they signed him to it and he's going to sub-replacement level here very soon.

This teams defense is so fucking bad it stands out even among bad Reds teams.

Over shift slappy ass Descalso who promptly lays down a bunt for a hit then the CF plays so shallow the pitcher hits one over his head for a two run double.

They better start teaching Senzel how to play 1B. He can't play OF for shit and Votto is a corpse. works out for everyone.
