Even better.....I just checked the video on mlb.com. Marty quietly asked seconds before the walkoff if they should bunt Votto over to 2nd.

The concept of 27 outs being the constraint of baseball just doesn't sink in with the "computers are bad" group.

Kind of like the PSU cult, they are never going to change, we just have to wait for them to die off.

Let me get this straight...

Shackleford comes in for the 8th up 4-3 and gives up 3 hits and a run in one inning to blow the lead. Then, he comes out again in the 9th with it tied?

CINCINNATI (AP) -- The Reds activated third baseman Eugenio Suarez from the 10-day disabled list and promoted infielder-outfielder Rosell Herrera from Triple-A Louisville before Thursday's game against the Braves.


The Reds placed Suarez on the disabled list April 9 after he was hit by a pitch and broke his right thumb in Pittsburgh on April 8. He played two games for the Bats on a rehab assignment.

Ervin and Pennington each played in 16 games for the Reds. Ervin hit .211, Pennington .138.
