considering the room for error for bad contracts between the two organizations I don't think it's even a question. Yankees can afford a bad contract, Reds cannot.
Someone in the Reds FO decided to sign Homer to a LTC and trade Cueto for prospects a while back and the execution of that decision needs it's proper place in the fuck up hall of fame.
Not only was the A/B choice an epic fail (HB injured seemingly by the very process of signing the LTC) but they doubled down on the fuckery by getting absolutely nothing of value in return for Cueto. They actually managed the rare triple down by then deciding to rush HB back from his initial TJ surgery, contrary to all known medical research on the procedure, and fucking him up even worse.
This move was HOF worthy folks ad pure Cincinnati Reds
