Good point. I'd probably have used it before the Bengals could burn 30 seconds off, but they should have enough time either way.

4 turnovers created by safeties in two weeks. It’s what this defense has lacked since losing Reggie Nelson. So damn refreshing to see!

Cutting Iloka may have been the best thing to happen to this secondary, as I think Williams and Iloka are almost carbon copies of each other (Williams with better discipline in coverage). But both like to cheat up a bit to make plays, while it allows Bates to float back and play center field. Great move to recognize that by the FO, yet they were largely criticized for it.
