Cincinnati Bengals (Same Ole Bengals)

The injuries didn't help for sure but this game was lost due to lack of intensity, preparedness and focus. Three Bengal hallmarks.

The unforced errors by Chase and Mixon are game-changers. Score would be significantly different had those not occurred.

I kept saying the same thing, those two plays killed us. Without those two plays, I honestly think we win (or at the very least it's a tight game). If Chase catches that, it's 9-7. If Mixon doesn't fumble, we probably take the lead there. Those two plays it legit seemed like we were just trying to give the other team the ball and trying to lose. But we took our regularly planned L and now it's time to go on an unexplainable two win streak.

Browns had a bye so watched my 2nd Ohio NFL team.

Like said above, the turnovers were huge. Joe started to press himself when it became a 2 score deficit. But more importantly, the Oline is still incredibly spotty in pass pro.
I'm shocked Joey Buckets doesn't have some type of PTSD from last season.

Spot on. Joe really only made "mistakes" once the game felt out of hand and he had to try to make something happen. The OL got eaten alive, but no Reif or Hopkins was a glaring problem... can't have them out moving forward or poor Joe is going to get killed. I know it's the NFL and "next man up" mentality, but the amount of injuries last game is pretty concerning. In particular Wilson would be a huge loss at LB. Hopefully most of them are minor.

Former NFL player and USC Trojans star Rey Maualuga faces 10 years in prison stemming from a drunk driving crash inside of a neighborhood earlier this year, TMZ reports. The ex-Cincinnati Bengals linebacker was charged with two felonies — DUI and first-degree criminal mischief — as well as one misdemeanor after crashing into a parked car and then into a tree.

Mauluga's maximum sentence is a decade behind bars if convicted, Kenton County prosecutors told TMZ. Police arrested Mauluga Aug. 11 in Villa Hills, Kentucky, after he drove through several mailboxes inside of a residential area. Authorities told TMZ Maualuga was "sweating profusely" before he was take into custody.

Maualuga has been arrested before. Just over a year ago, in July 2020, Maualuga was booked by the Vista Hills Police Department — the same police who made the arrest earlier this year — on charges of driving while intoxicated and reckless driving.

In 2010, Maualuga was arrested on drunk driving charges after crashing into a parking meter and two parked cars, recording a blood alcohol level of .157. Maualuga later pleaded guilty to the charges, receiving a suspended seven-day jail sentence and two years' probation. After that arrest, Maualuga apologized for his actions.

"I will learn from this and become a better person and a better man from all this," Maualuga said. "And I will assure you that this will never happen again."

Just sayin': Apparently he didn't learn his lesson back in 2010.
