Cincinnati Bengals 2014 Thread of Frustration

Love getting McCarron in the 5th...incredible value for us there, I think the kid has what it takes to be a good QB in the NFL and his experience at high levels of play makes him even more desirable. I also love moving up to get the center in the 4th (Bodine)...position of need and it is obvious we had a high grade on him, so I am all for being aggressive and getting our guy. Could be the starter right away, that is great value in the 4th.

And although I got upset with the Clarke pick at first blush in the 3rd, he is a player that I that I think fits in extremely well here in Cincy. I also think the Flowers pick in the 6th was great, kid has a lot of potential. Like the 7th round too. Overall I give this draft a B+.

The odds are not in AJ's Favor. Other than Bart, The Snake, and Broadway Joe, none have really been up to the task.

(Rutledge was a holder for the Giants, and a backup for Mark Rypien.)

Thank God it is low on the guaranteed money. But as fungo said, there is still the fact that it is Dalton. Apparently he has been absolutely on fire in camp, although the question with him is not throwing big games away.

Only bummer about not being local anymore is being able to only see one preseason game in Week 3, at which point it will be pointless to watch. Week 1 of preseason is always worth watching to see the new guys and there is enough starter play to be interesting. Plus football is finally back. Oh well, I'll catch the highlights tomorrow.

Nice seeing us lock up Burfict for the next 4 years...going to be one of the premiere LBs in the league if he stays healthy. If we get Green locked up long-term before the season, we should have our bases covered for some time.
