Cincinnati Bengals 2014 Thread of Frustration

With Andre out, we are likely screwed...Newhouse has played terrible at tackle in pass protection. Dalton is already troublesome but a Dalton with no time to throw is terrifying. This is the exact scenario I worried about when we lost Anthony Collins in free agency.

I really fucking hate Marvin Lewis

finally take the lead 14-10, defense has owned TB, LET'S TRY AN ONSIDE KICK!!

fail

I was watching the game on RedZone and must have missed where we tried an onside kick there... extremely dumb. However, do have to give him credit, his challenge flag to stop the play and give the refs time to review the 12 man penalty was a GREAT call.

ya, right when they scored to go up 14-10 is when they tried the onside, of course it was a massive failure, and TB got a FG out of it, which almost cost us the game

The challenge was incredibly alert and likely won us the game...it's hard to point to a coach essentially winning the game with one defining decision but that was the case here. No way it should have been that close but that is the way the NFL goes sometimes. Still awaiting Burfict and Eifert's (hopeful) return...our health is getting back up there in the front 7 and it shoes, but Burfict will be that extra shot in the arm we need to be elite. The secondary basically shut down a red-hot Evans and Newman yet again shut down a big-time receiver. Offense goes as Dalton goes generally...3 INT's is really hard to come back from, even with Hill and Gio. Anyways, time to get ready to hit a rough stretch of games so we better buckle in for some inevitable frustration. Really I just hope to split 2-2 with Pitt, Cleveland, Denver, and Pitt again to close out. 3-1 would be great to possibly get homefield advantage though.

Outscored 25-0 at home in the 4th quarter? Ouch.

Worse still, the Steeler fans at work will be giddy tomorrow. :roll1:
