Cincinnati Bengals 2014 Thread of Frustration

Damn you, Jeremy Hill, for making me like you.

You can piss on Nugent all you want for missing the game winner, but it isn't like big bucks Dalton had a stellar showing with his two picks and missing a wide open Sanzo late in the game that could have easily been or lead to a game winning TD.

I can tell you that this game was just as frustrating as a Panthers fan as it was for you all. As much as Nugent should've sealed the deal for you all, I feel that the game never should've went to OT. The Panthers should've went up 14 on the Benjamin TD that was called back, or at least 10 on the Gano miss. Then that Adam Jones return... ugh. And of course before that, the Bengals had been dominant. Sloppy, sloppy game.

Maybe neither team deserved to win, so this was the right result?

It isn't like this was his first miss all season...he was about 63% heading into this game and that will never keep your job in the NFL. Then you miss a glorified extra point that was placed in the exact middle of the field for ease? Nuge has been a very good kicker for us but he just doesn't have it anymore.. I would be shocked if he keeps his job. As for Dalton, he was 33-43 with 323 yards and 2 TDs while throwing to the practice squad...pretty sure he was far from the problem. The 2nd INT was bad but the first one he had his arm knocked mid-throw. I'm the biggest Dalton pessimist ever but he played his ass off and had a great game despite nobody else but Gio showing up. To be honest, he has showed up every week and was really the only consistent player in the last two games despite his weapons dropping like flies.

Credit where credit is due, and criticism where criticism is due.
