Rivers was a shell of linebacker, not a game changer at all. Soft. I am, however, surprised we got rid of him as we need the depth.

Rivers was doing nothing here, no bigs. Our transactions have been vastly beneficial imo. If we can continue our good draft streak, next season should be interesting.

Barron is the top player on my board, but I think it would take too much for us to move up to get him. DeCastro's next, but again I'm not in love with the idea of moving up to get. Unless we trade up to get either of those guys, I would love for our draft strategy to work out such that we ended up with Dre Kirkpatrick and Harrison Smith in the first round. I think our safety play was the weakest position on the team last year, and Smith is the kind of guy who may not be the highest upside but has a pretty low bust potential.
Then with the next three picks take RB, WR, OG, and fill out the rest of the draft with a couple defensive linemen, LBers, and maybe another WR.

I don't mind Upshaw but I don't feel like DE is a 1st round need....if they really want to draft a DE id rather wait and take someone like Vinny Curry from Marshall in round 2
a young corner is a must IMO....this is a pretty deep draft though they can get a good corner in 2 or 3
Saftey however is not deep at all this year, Barron is really the only one i'd look at outside of round 4 or 5
If they decide to go WR I hope it's Kendall Wright.....I'm not a fan of Hill, he is a player i'd be disappointed if they ended up with
