Over at Bengals.com here are some of the topics on the forum front page.

1. Start LeFevour
2. Sign Daunte Culpepper
3. Sign Odell Thurman
4. Random firing of coaches for the sake of just firing someone
5. Two black men that look nothing a like called lookalikes (Chapman and TO)
6. Giving a roster spot to Willie Anderson

I swear, the biggest idiots in the world are on that board. It's make it really tough to defend Bengals fans.

Sex line on Chad Ochocinco's cereal

Because of a wrong toll-free prefix for a number listed on Ochocinco's cereal, callers are directed to a phone sex line instead of a children's charity.

Congratulations Mike Brown...

NFL?s fastest owner to reach 200 losses

The 27-21 loss to the Steelers marked the 200th regular season loss since Mike Brown became Bengals owner and president in 1991. The current record since 1991 is 113-200-1 meaning he reached it in game 314. We did some digging around and it is the fastest an NFL owner has reached that mark. The previous standard was Atlanta Falcons original owner Rankin Smith, who reached it in 327 games. The Falcons got their 200th loss on Oct. 16, 1988 at Denver. At the time, that made Smith 122-200-5. Next up on the list might surprise you ? Pittsburgh?s Art Rooney. For those not old enough to remember, the Steelers were awful for their first 40 years and Rooney?s squad reached 200 losses in 335 games (Oct. 22, 1961 at Cleveland or 118-200-17).

:slappy: here is a story

A few of my buddies are from Cincinnati, and they went to the game on Monday night, and even went over to Paul Brown Stadium at 5:30AM so that they could attend the ESPN broadcast of Mike & Mike in the morning. Apparently, there wasn't any food or coffee available at PBS, and everybody was upset. The ESPN crew even offered to order out for coffee and snacks from Panera Bread, but weren't allowed to bring the food onto stadium property because of the non-compete license agreements that PBS and the Bengals have with their current vendors. The Bengals ended up offering everybody in the audience a free cup of water, but apologized to the audience for not having any food, but did mention that they had a bottle of Tabasco sauce if anybody wanted it. (This is not a joke).

Bengals coach Marvin Lewis, who is in the final year of his contract, has been included on just about every recent list of coaches who might not be back with their respective teams in 2011. NFL Network insider Jason La Canfora was in the Around the League seat on “NFL Total Access” Wednesday, and said he’s indeed hearing it’s “very, very unlikely” Lewis will return next season.
La Canfora also included Carson Palmer, Terrell Owens, Chad Ochocinco and Cedric Benson as players who could be entering their final month with the team, which might give the rallying cry ‘Who Dey!’ a whole new meeting in the Queen City next season.

next year is going to be "fun"

no TO...no Ochocinco

that makes our #1 WR.....Jordan Shipley?

no Benson.....Bernard Scott #1 RB

Carson Palmer has not been the same since his injuries....if they are going to let him go, they best Draft a QB with their first rounder....which is almost certainly going to be a top 10 pick...hopefully a top 5 (I believe if the season ended today they would be picking #2 overall) (Andrew Luck Please)

if things go this way, the 2011 Cincinnati Bengals could possibly be one of the worst teams of all time

I think the English language is ready for a new verb; to Bengal, to consistently apply the fundamentals of stupidity, lack of concentration, bad judgement and ineptitude throughout games, seasons and decades. "If they Bengal we can win this game." "We were down 13 with less than two minutes to go, they had the ball first and goal on our 3 and then they Bengaled and we ended up winning." A winning coach could say, "They just out Bengaled us all day."

In a well run organization Palmer would be looking behind his back at an up and coming backup QB. In a well run organization they would be renegogiating his overpaid contract (2009 he earned nearly 2 million more than both Rothlisberger and Peyton Manning).

But this is the Bengals - so we will continue to see brain-dead throws which are easy pick sixes for the opposition. This is the Bengals, so they will never go out and get a credible backup. Palmer is regressing, and even the commentators have stopped giving him the normal benefit of the doubt excuses. 20 TDs to 15 picks with 3 games to go. It isn't going to get better.

Looks like they aren't blowing everything up . not completely.

On TV last night the rumor was that TO and "81" in Spansih (not) had their names removed from lockers at the stadium - "are they back?" well, nobody knows.

One thing we do now know for sure is that Marvin Lewis comes back for another round with the Bengals ... perhaps with additional control over operations / decision making / personnel?

Lewis agreed to a contract extension on Tuesday after two days of negotiating changes in how the front office functions. Owner Mike Brown wanted to keep him, offering an extension last season. Lewis wanted to stay, too, but only if he got more influence over decisions

Maybe next year he gets a scouting department to boot.
