Cincinnati Bengals 2006 Draft Discussion (official thread)

I'm surprised they haven't taken a tight end yet. They should've taken a TE in the 3rd instead of Rucker and then grabbed a DE in the 4th. Overall though its been a solid draft.

Speculation is that the Bengals would have taken Fasano in the 2nd round (the TE from ND), but he was taken 2 picks before by Dallas.

Would be nice to trade KW for a draft pick or a tight end...

They got one hellva athlete in Reggie McNeal, I'd put him at WR & have him return kicks.

That's a good question...I didn't see that pick coming. My guess is he'll battle for the 3rd string spot and if that doesn't work out he'll move to WR.

My guess is they want McNeal for punt returns and insurance at WR in case Chris Henry has to go to the slammer. I notice they re-signed Kelly Washington. My guess is he would have gotten a copy of the home game if Henry wasn't such a screw-up.
