This guy is a fucking clown, but unlike the other two clowns (Proenza at Akron and McDowell at FredOU), he is a clown with a real potential to do some damage. He's already laid his cards on the table with his "two flagships" bullshit, and given Cincy's population and political representation, he could--if not kept under control--do some real damage.

ORD, I bow to your insider knowledge, but outside of Ono, no one in Cincinnati politics knows where Columbus is, how to get there, or that there is no Tri-State with Cincinnati as the capital.

Thanks, Cinci. I see your point that most cinci politicians don't really care about statewide issues and that Ohio State's dominance in the legislature seems pretty ironclad right now. I just think that this Ono clown is on a mission to stir up some shit, and he's made a lot of comments so far to back up that feeling. If he ever did rally the cincy political delegation to get behind UC at the statewide level, he could cause a lot of problems. He was also clever enough to throw the words "multiple flagships" around as if he's going to try and rally the unwashed Fredo masses to take another shot at the throne. McDowell at OU would sign on tomorrow. After all, that is their historic role of playing Beavis to another Fredo's butthead but getting to keep none of the spoils from the treachery.

I really believe that Gee lost a lot his second time around, and I'm honestly a little thankful for the change. The one thing that I am very sorry to see go, is his mastery of the legislature and close personal relationship with Kasich. Maintaining that is something that should be a primary qualification for the next President and why I'm somewhat intrigued about the Condi Rice speculation. WMD Badger won't give a fuck about Ono. She'll just say shut the fuck up.

BTW, for those wanting to put a face to the juggalo, here you go.

Classic trap game. Beat a really horrible team at home by a bunch, then expect to win on the road just by showing up. Thought Illinois showed real class when Munchie Legaux was injured. If UC's defense doesn't improve, it's going to be a long year.
