You know what makes the juggalos douchebaggery really stand out?

Did anyone here see a t-shirt, website or any hear a peep from Kent State this year? I know I didn't. They enjoyed their success quietly without going full retard with an OSU inferiority complex.

UC has their bicentennial good team and run their collective cockholsters toward at about 9000 rpm before it's even over.

Back in the '80 when Xavier made it to the sweet 16 for the first time, they printed up some shirts that said "Xavier is THE University of Cincinnati". I thought they were annoying in the extreme, so I know where you are coming from. It's one of the reasons I didn't buy one of those bUCeye state shirts. But on the other hand, who cares what some 18 year who noticed "buckeye" has "uc" in it thinks about OSU? Most Cincinnati fans realize that UC football will never consistently achieve the level of success OSU does. Plus, we were so bad for so long, you have to expect at least some full retard behavior from the fans with such a sudden turn around.

That's just the thing. It wasn't a bunch of message board warriors. It was the administration of that fucking clown college. Those bUCeye state shirts were being sold in the bookstore and through the athletic department's website. The AD had "ohio's bcs team" in big ass font on their homepage. They did a Script Cincinnati their last game of season.

Your university administration wants to poke a stick at the big bear? They want to make a run at the throne? That's fine with me, but they'd better check with Fredo of Ohio and FredOU and find out how well that shit worked out for them. Mess with bull and get the fucking horns.

It wasn't just some kids making bootleg T-shirts. It was the administration putting that bush league nonsense up on the official school website.

No. How you handle success, however limited, tells a lot about a person/group. You guys showed your ass to such a level as to be almost unbelievable.

...and they've lost two coaches since then, and three in under a decade. Nothing screams "big time" like your coaches bolting for another job.

I will say that while KSU didn't cause any shit (wonder how much of that had to do with Hazell being their coach), I don't think Cincy is unique in how they handled things. In particular, the Presidents of Akron (Proenza) and FredOU (McDaniels) are constantly taking their little passive-aggressive shots at Ohio State, and I shudder to think what kind of nonsense they would pull--or at least allow--were a BCS bound football team to give them the platform.

If having a BCS caliber football team is the key, then I think we are pretty safe from Akron and OU.
