Wrong glass, Sir.
We don't have the money to get rid of butch next year, the year after that, or the year after that. He'll either have to be pulled over for a DUI after he was with recruits AND have his players have serious criminal problems, or we'll get to enjoy the family until 2015.
The game showed zero improvement, and after witnessing the team on the sidelines two weeks ago, and then seeing them come out yesterday similarly, it is clear that they have checked out. Why else does Binns give up on the ball when its 5 yards away (leading to a pick...)? Why else were their CBs inside on every throw ZC made. Where has Ben Guidulgi gone, oh wait, where has any shortish forward pass to the flat gone?
It is difficult to go from a 12-0 season, to a shellacking at the hands of Tim Tebow, then to a new scheme and coaching mentality. If they have checked out, it is understandable. Juniors in the program have never seen anything like what is happening. If they were partially bought in at the beginning of the season, then maybe against OU, they're off the bus now. A 3-9 season would be a disaster, but what can you do? There are reasons BK didn't stay, and it wasn't just the players, it was the situation. Ditto Mark Dantonio. And I sound like a broken record talking about how our athletic department didn't cash in appropriately when we were on a roll. How are season ticket sales going to look next year?
Apparently, those bUCkeye state t-shirts weren't the hoped for financial windfall.:highfive:
