Are OSU BBall coaches excluded from winning B1G COTY or is that just football?

Really not that far-fetched to believe that he was their top choice, once you realize 1) they didn't want to pay NBA money & it was risky to hire an NBA coach when you desperately need a college coach who has been recruiting the area to make up ground in recruiting, 2) Cronin was never going to happen due to his personal history with OSU, and 3) Mack's teams have lost 12-13 games a year a lot of times in his 8 years at X and hasn't seemed to be able to keep them at a great level consistently which is really the ultimate goal. But a lot of people these days are trying to make up their mind whatever way fits with their biases and not examine the facts closely before forming an opinion.Maybe Holtmann was Gene's 1st choice all along????

I have said this in other threads but need to say it in this one...very, very, very impressed by CH so far. Obviously I want to see us close out the season strong, but the way he has got this team to play so far is nothing short of amazing. And I love his presence with the media, very Urban Meyer-esque imo...not shy to address how pleased he is with the team playing so well, but also very wary and cognizant of how much ball there is left to play.
I know I was the first to come in and rip GS apart for not hiring Archie Miller, and was extremely pissed how we handled letting go of Matta (and for a lot of things but just referencing this one issue). We have a ways to go but I am fucking amped about Chris Holtmann and the way he conducts business. I know we are undefeated in conference play and should be top 25 tomorrow, but I mean aside from that...the players are playing inspired and the team is fun to watch, regardless of the overall wins and losses. That is all I ask and it is happening. If we keep playing with that type of effort and passion, I will be happy.
