Chris Ash (Secondary Coach Jacksonville Jaguars)

Allegedly they're interviewing every hot coordinator that fans have linked to higher profile jobs but nobody has touched.
Frost, Narduzzi, Bedford, Bobo, etc.
But most importantly these are all preliminary interviews...

The catch here is that the interviews at this point are considered preliminary, with DHR and a small group of additional CSU insiders charged with screening and vetting possible candidates — a number to be determined — to move along to the next step.

When some reacted to the news of Bobo’s interview with the assumption that he is going to be the Rams’ next coach, that was considerably premature and even a bit naive. This preliminary interview came to light. He might become the Rams’ next coach, but this is part of a bigger picture.

Frank isn’t yet involved and presumably won’t be until final interviews.

FWIW, Frank is the President and was heavily involved with McElwain/Florida negotiations.
So hoping nothing to see here, and more about Ash just getting experience in the process? [/scarlet shades]

I find it interesting that Luke Fickell was the one who spoke at the national title celebration, not Ash.

I read into that pecking order.

I had previously thought that Ash was more in charge than Fickell.

I find it amazing that Ash initially introduced himself as Defensive Coordinator instead of co-defensive coordinator.

This is my opinion and maybe I am incorrect but I attribute a great deal of our defensive success this year to Ash not Fickell. Fickell had his chance and our defense was not so good. This year we saw major differences in the secondary with the press coverage etc vs our old 7 yard cushion on the corners which everyone ate us alive on.
