what an awful game tonight. gave up three runs in the 8th to tie then gave up 3 in the bottom of the 10th to lose. finally scored some runs and javier pitched well, but the bullpen totally fucked it up.

2 of 3 in minnesota is pretty good. if not for that debacle on tuesday, it would have been a sweep. KC is next on the schedule. a sweep or another 2 out of 3 would put the sox right back in striking distance of first. great game by contreres today. 9 inning shut out.

great to see garland pitch a gem lastnight. as long as this team keeps getting excellent starting pitching it should be able to survive until the bats come alive, which i hope is soon

Baseball tonight had a stat the other day that the WS are getting the most innings on average from their starters than any other team in baseball. Not bad. Since they play the yankmees this week, I will get to watch all the games this week. Hopefully the Sox sweep their ass.

I'm not able to watch the games here so I didn't see the plays you are talking about. However, stealing 2nd with a runner on 3rd and one out takes away the double play.
