Garland is throwing a gem right now, but its still a tight game. I don't have it on TV, but I've got it up on MLB.com. Top of the 8th and the sox are up 1-0.

Jenks gave away a gem by Garland. He let the first two batters on then let them score. A's win 2-1. What a crappy way to lose.

fucking jenks....at least they got the win today. taking 2 of 3 out in oakland is pretty fucking good.

also nice to see JD hitting the ball well

the headline on whitesox.com before the series said "whitesox return to their house of horror" they had only won like 3 games out of the last 20 some in Oakland. Considering that, 2 of 3 is great.

So I'm watching the White Sox against the Indians today and it looks like it's freezing. Podsednik hits a line drive to left for the 2nd out of the 9th inning, and they show Borowski lick his hand.

Is that allowed because it's cold?

Tribe had 1 measly hit all day and beat the Sox again...that makes 4/6 on the year - thats a good trend

I just lost a double or nothing bet from the first Indians series. Can't believe they lost on a one hitter.

The rules about blowing into your hands and whatnot are overlooked if its cold.

I didn't want to post this until it was official. Buehrle threw a NO HITTER! Walked one guy then picked him off. only faced 27 batters! I really wish I could have watched that.

So goes the life of an Indian fan---I've been to probably 100 Tribe games in my career and never seen anything of note other than a couple World Series games.

I'm in Chicago visiting family and job-hunting and promptly see a no-hitter. Weird how things work out. Sucks as an Indian fan, but a great night for me just as someone who appreciates our national pastime.

What did you think of the "cell". Pretty nice place IMO. I've never been to the Jake though.

i just saw the highlights on ESPN. the defense played great. Crede had a couple plays that were amazing.

Despite the fact the Sox are now tied for second most no-hitters thrown all-time (16, the Dodgers have 20), this was the first no-hitter in Chicago since 1967.

It's decent. The concourses are pretty wide and clean. The field area--not so great. As overdone as the "retro" look is now, the Sox would've been better served to use HOK like Camden/Jacobs/Coors, IMO. I've heard bad things about the upper deck as well. Ticket prices were surprisingly the same as Cleveland (though we don't have as many "premium" games), though parking costs more.
