i'm just glad they're scoring runs

I saw a box score the other day, and the highest batting average at the end of the game for any Sox player with a plate appearance was .250 - I don't think I've ever seen a box score like that before.

how is trading Buehrle going to fix the problem?

He is a FA after this year. Has no intention of resigning with the team - have exhausted talks and are no longer looking for an agreement.

His trade value is very high and will bring in top young talent - which is exactly what this team needs right now. Especially since the White Sox have a pathetic excuse of a farm system.

That's not new is it? :wink2:

Hey... It's news when we sweep anyone...

I agree with BN27 here... Trading your best P isn't going to solve things... You guys have so many guys in the middle of slumps that it is uncanny... Guys you can usually count on to hit .300 (Konerko, Pierzynski, for the most part Dye) are below .250 on the season... Sometimes it happens like that with lineups and it's frustrating and unfortunate...

Please explain to me why the White Sox should hold Mark for the remainder of the year - when he will just go sign with someone else.
