Champions League Final (May 19th) Chelsea vs. Bayern Munich

I don't think they're that worried yet. They created some great chances in the first half and the only thing lacking was the finishing. I still think Chelsea poses danger on the counter, but Bayern also look capable of doing so when Chelsea get guys forward.

So, who's this Bertrand guy for Chelsea and why is he clogging the space that Juan Mata should be in? Get Bertrand out of the way, and you have a MUCH better attacking presence.

That's NOT what you want. If he keeps getting chances like he has, he'll eventually find the back of the net. Keep locking down Robben (which shouldn't be an issue with Lahm over there), keep Ribery frustrated, and keep Gomez from getting any chances similar to the first half. Oh, and.... Pray Schweinsteiger doesn't find his range!

For the record, I'm hoping Chelsea wins, as it would be the upset of upsets, but I just don't think it's going to happen.

Yeah I know...just trying to convince myself really...Bayern did everything well but finish.it is only a matter of time unless Chelsea get off their heels

He has only made eight appearances for Chelsea all season. He's the first ever player to make his Champions League debut in the Final. Talk about a bold move by Di Mateo to start him.

Bold move, but a place holder for a fresh Torres in the 70th?

The choice of subs may be the defining moment of the entire Final.

I like Maluda, but would prefer to see Torres come on there for a 4-4-2 with Torres a the target and Drogba playing around the circle.

I am also surprised Torres didn't go in.

Bayern is terrible tonight with their finishes. And how do you waste a 16-0 corner kick advantage?

Ref is having a great game - making the correct calls including that non-handball (though that was a relatively easy call to make)
