CFP Title Game, Alabama vs tOSU, Jan 11, 8:15 ET on ESPN, Miami

If we have key DL out, particularly Togiai, that would be enormous trouble against Bama... even if the rest of our DL is set to go. Any more DL than Togiai and Smith and I'm sorry, that is just going to turn ugly. DL is the most important cog of the team imo with the way they've played and Bama has an incredible OL (and uncanny immunity to covid it seems). I don't know that we can or should postpone the game if there are real issues on the DL, but it's concerning.

But with this year, I'm just going to see what happens and roll with it. This has been an incredible year no matter what happens, even as much as we all want to see another title.
People are so afraid of COVID, respect and prayers for those that have lost loved ones to it. But I had it, my wife had it, my son had it, and for 90% of us, it's not that big of a deal. If you're over 50, it's like the flu. Again for those high risk individuals, stay home, stay safe and God bless you!

LOL- crooked Refs? Where did that come from? Maybe our 4 win, Ole Miss beating the heralded Indiana football team? LOL

Likely refers to SEC refs (more fairly the replay booth) absolutely ripping OSU from a win last year against Clemson.

OSU has now been the significantly better team against Clemson 2 years in a row.....A similar Clemson team that has given Bama trouble in past.

The one thing I like is these kids all know eachother from the camp circuit. The parents all know eachother for similar reasons. Alabama parents have good relationships with OSU coaches. We are all recruiting the same guys for the most part (with Clemson as well).

I don’t see any backdown or fear in OSU. They know these dudes. We were better than Clemson last year, and god-damn did OSU want Burrow in the CFP.

Depth concerns me a bit......but other than that, our guys are gonna be ready to roll. They aren’t going to Miami to get wrecked by Bama.

Awesome! If Waddle is back, anywhere close to full speed, game over! RTR!

Yeah....and that was prior to ESPN report, I was just late on it. My pops is golf buddies with a father of Bama player. Said he couldn’t talk too much, but just know...”Waddle is practicing and gonna play”.

At the same token, bc these families all know eachother and the players between teams have friendships/relationships.......these staffs already know exactly who is available and not. Don’t think OSU is keeping Bama guessing on Togiai news.....I just don’t think it’s realistic the way college kids speak.....even to their parents who then spread the news. Right? I heard about Waddle through a backup punters, father.

Since we've made personnel changes after IU he's correct. Couple that with Alabama doing a lot behind the LOS and I really believe the ability to stop them is there. Certainly to the level of under 28 points.

28 by halftime- good luck!

You may be right, I actually said the same thing. The turnovers in the second half were the difference. OSU has great talent and coaching and so does Bama. The truth is none of us know what's going to happen, otherwise we'd be betting our house on the game. But at least we have something to watch. My only question with OSU is the quality of competition in your league. Indiana was beaten out by a 4 win Ole Miss, Northwestern would be lucky to win 4-5 this year in our league. They did beat a coach less Auburn. Florida mucked it up against OU after all their receivers quit but they did have one of the top offenses in the country. But I don't question, OSU you're legit, it's going to be a heck of a game.

Was no one going to address this? Poor Indiana couldn't beat Ole Miss with their 3rd string QB, though they were really close. It's too bad 3rd string QBs can't always beat SEC teams.

Don’t speculate on things that you know nothing about. It makes your presence here tedious..

Ole Miss did not beat Indiana because of the refs, they did so because Indiana without Michael Penix is Indiana. Beyond that, we do not care. No one here would have brought up that game because we do not care about Indiana. The truth is, we find the “conference pride” of the SEC to be just plain weird.

If you really want to learn about the murky history of SEC officiating, google it.
