CFP Title Game, Alabama vs tOSU, Jan 11, 8:15 ET on ESPN, Miami

Great - but if they show up at 100 percent, not buying it.

The game isn't getting postponed, so this whole point is, well, pointless, but you can rest assured that unlike certain other programs in the "souf" if someone from Ohio State says they are having COVID issues, they are having COVID issues.

Saying they might postpone just to give Fields time to heal is just showing how fearful people are on the Bama side of Fields and this offense.

I'll give you my honest opinion:
Personally, I've never been a Fields fan, didn't think he was a good enough passer. He looked great against Clemson, and if he's mobile, he's the type of QB that typically gives Bama defenses fits. I'm convinced you'll be able to put a lot of points on the board assuming Fields is a threat to run but barring injuries to key players, I don't see you stopping our offense either. I do like this Bama team, they have tremendous leadership within the team along with great talent. If you beat them, it a'int going to be easy. Anything can happen, it's football, Good luck!

Barmore is a beast, #31 DE Freshman but is fast off the end. The rest are solid but not Super.
Thanks, that's what I saw as well. Lots of athleticism, but not the typical immovable (but athletic) trees upfront.

OSU's DL is very opposite from recent years. After an insane run of great DEs (Young, N.Bosa, J.Bosa, Spence) to go with plenty of good ones (Hubbard, Lewis, Holmes), but only solid to good DTs (with Hamilton possibly being the best), this year they lack any high end DEs but have a pair of high level DTs.

Garrett has been very disruptive all season, and Togiai is a tank with enough technique and motor to make plays. OSU rarely gets guys like Tommy. In the semi-final, DT Togiai and DE Smith were living in the Clemson backfield (albeit with a much worse OL from SC).

The feared covid casualties are Togiai, Smith & Williams. Only the latter is confirmed.

OSU was already experimenting with Browning as a pass-play only rush end, both because of his athleticism but also their lack of depth there. They were missing Zach Harrison last week, who returns from covid protocols for the NC game. He has yet to turn the corner and realize his potential as a 5-star DE, though he has impossible acts to follow in the guys before him.

CNS, not sure of player, big outbreak in preseason. If OSU was trying to post-pone game, assuming they're going to have several out, if not assuming the postponement was designed to buy time for Fields to get healthy.
Because of what was rumored by SEC reporters / SEC networks and Saban's daughters social media? Y'all need better sources.

There was literally never one rumor up here of them postponing. Key outages yes (see my previous post), but not postponement, and certainly not for their QB, who ate Clemson alive after the kidney spearing.

Justin is fine but Bama will surely make him feel their physicality (in a clean manner very unlike what Clemson usually does). Durability has been a question mark for Justin in the past, and he really took a big step in that area later this season.

Right right - the typical "you're guys aren't good enough, this is the greatest team we've ever had" bullshit....

Predictable.
Didn't say that- if completely healthy with Dickerson and Waddle it's the best offense that I've ever seen at Bama, and I would challenge you to find an offense with as much NFL talent on any team in history. That I stand behind. The weakness is on defense, I wonder if the DC is a weakness, not a Pete Goulding fan. OSU can win it, but of you do it will be because your offense had a great night, like Clemson.
