I think if you’re Ohio state you go out abs pay $$$ for a proven DC. This defense all year has been a disaster and underperformed for the talent that is recruited. Also retaining Hartline is an absolute must, give the guy a raise and groom him for OC

Togiai and Smith would be nice, but that doesn’t explain the insistence on 4-4, the inability of any of the DBs to run, or the tackling.

Our DL getting put on skates is probably the reason for the 4-4.

Sort of, but the only "stops" our defense has tonight is one forced fumble and a mercy field goal on the 2 yard line.

I know we’re all pissed at Coombs right now but eh...it’s a shit year for defense and this Tide offense is lethal. If this was a normal year I’d tell him to kick rocks but in his first year he, quite frankly, couldn’t do what Halfley did with 3 first rounders his first year.

no excuse for sticking with 4lbers on field...none. if your freshmen DB's are that bad that you can't even give them one game to see what the can do and get experience then the future looks bleak as fuck.
