I distinctly remember Hafley making a joke of playing the old bullshit technique of not looking back at the ball. He made fun of it and said something to the effect of "well I like to intercept the ball and that is hard to do when you aren't looking for it, so yeah we are going to turn and look for the ball." Coombs has never been in that camp and it sucks ass.

. Coombs needs to be canned effective 12:01 AM on 1/12/21. This defensive performance scheme wise, tackling wise and execution wise is literally one of worst I have ever seen.

I know we’re all pissed at Coombs right now but eh...it’s a shit year for defense and this Tide offense is lethal. If this was a normal year I’d tell him to kick rocks but in his first year he, quite frankly, couldn’t do what Halfley did with 3 first rounders his first year.

You guys are giving Jones waaaaay too much credit. Sark is going all the work and Jones has easy easy reads. He's either throwing to the flat or hitting wide open WRs downfield. Combs hasn't made an adjustment and it's painfully obvious.
