I'm going into this Championship game the same way I did Friday (regardless of when it gets played): I am just happy to see the Buckeyes play again.
Sure I would be excited to share in a win, yet, just seeing them play again is great. Everything else is cherry.

A delay at this point with positive COVID tests even as soon as the day after Clemson means they're not back for the game anyway, as the 18th would be 16 days after the positive, if you include the 2nd as day 1 it's the 17th day, so still held out. I suspect that's why OSU is pushing to have the game played anyway, because delaying doesn't help and only allows more time for other players to get sick.

2 weeks between Conf. Champ and Super Bowl, don’t see the issue pushing this to get the best championship. And also means the kids can be safely isolated, monitored and tested before playing.

Anyway, Friday was so cathartic, much like Bama in 2014. Finally beating Clemson was a relief and much deserved for those guys.

I want the Natty but Ohio State gave it everything this year. And got more than I could imagine- biggest scalp missing is that team up north but they’ll get theirs.

Also, I mean, the Bucks could still just go out and win no matter what gets in the way.
