In other news, the Cavs are leading the Hornets, 53-41, with 5:33 left in the first half. Might change over to that game for a bit....

ok guys, short passes to the boundaries are not going to work yet. we haven't done anything to force them to not key off that type of play first. is it just me or did we go an entire quarter without weber running the ball? i know we didn't have a crap ton of plays on offense but... i feel an offense whose identity consists of "spread with strong A/B gap presence" should probably consider a tb run up the middle at least once a quarter..?
maybe i don't understand how offenses are called/should be called. im more of a defensive guy really. but i would think at least half my first 10 or so play calls would be designed specifically to get a handle on what the d is doing. once i know what your keying on, i know how to hurt you. but that could just me being an idiot honestly.
