watching the post-game presser, with day, howard and sawyer... the way these guys are talking, the emotion, the vibe and contentedness these guys are exuding, a calmness and certitude, the understanding of the significance of the moment in the larger sense.

this was a program-defining win. i think this win goes a long way to helping day loosen up and move forward with a kind of steadiness through thick and thin that is the hallmark of a great leader.

i think that day gew as much in this game as his players.

EDIT: forgot the mention sawyer's hilarious knee-jerk response to the question about "what was going through your mind after that sack and scoop, running down the field?" and he said something like, "sh*t... i don't know... don't fall down like will." says so much about how these guys have bonded this season to be able to joke with each other like that over some tense situations.
