Georgia, like us, had a clear path. You know if you lose that game, you're relying on chaos. It fell to us last year. This year, there wasn't enough chaos.
It's worth noting, had this been next year. We still don't go to Indy. It's UW vs Cheaters, while us and Oregon are left as spectators.

Still, we took no chances.
Urban was familiar with what it takes to campaign for a playoff spot since 2006.
He made sure to leave no doubt that our offense would be just fine with 3rd string.

This is a sports playoff, and TV ratings matter more than the integrity of the game. Any undefeated conference champion should get in over teams with losses who didn't win the conference. End of story. The committee told us everything - TV ratings > games played. I care less about CFB with each passing year due to shit like this.

Luckily we'll have a real playoff next year. Someone will still get fucked, but it won't be an undefeated conference champ.

If it's ratings they want, it's ratings I shall withhold. Let's also not forget the results turned in by one participant aren't going to count anyway.

Sure feels like Scum is screwed. And if tCun is leading in the 4th, pretty sure Bama will just knock their best players out with concussions until they (bama) takes the lead. (Not rooting for that, even with tcun.) It means so much - SEC almost always finds a way.

All this does is confirm to the rest of CFB that if you aren’t part of the B1G or the SEC (and the network affiliations that entails) then you are sitting in on a game that is over your head.

Use that as the template for what this new super league that’s inevitably coming is going to need to look like. 30 some odd teams that make a profit off football and are willing to commit the resources to being competitive. All in one league and all play each other all season. Then your record and division/conference championships mean something.

it’s really time to cut the shit and recognize this for what it is. Professional football. There’s no win one for the Gipper or doing it for the Alma Mater anymore.

Let’s get on with establishing the real minor league of the NFL.

Yep.

Next step is getting these pro sports organizations out of the framework of educational organizations. Use the name, pass the money through to the schools but you can’t be dealing with Title IX, the NCAA or the DOE while you are running a pro sports team.
