It would've been nice to beat tcun and still not have to play in Indy, but that's, obviously, not where we are.

I feel good about the defense even though our pass rush sucks, our corners sometimes act like it's their first time covering a receiver deep (you could put me out there and I'll give you a pass interference call; that's not really the point of the exercise), and I'm still not sold on the LBs. However, if we will contain and spy their QB and not let him gash us for yardage to move the chains, I think we're ok. I believe Knowles when he says the defense is built for this type of offense. Again, we'll see, but I don't see us giving up three-plus TDs to the hillbillies. So,

the offense just needs to cover it's side of things. Play to our strengths and away from our liabilities. In the cold, I think 17 points wins this one and it could be either team/

How are we in a better spot than PSU ? They have one of the easiest paths to the finals. SMU, Boise and the winner of IU/ND vs. UGA. I couldn't believe the committee kept them ahead of us. Same record and we have a head to head victory. On second thought I'm not surprised the ESPN committee fucked us.

We had and needed three weeks post-scum to, hopefully, get our shit together and still have a home game. They had to play and lose to Oregon and still have to play the first round. I was speaking more generally as to the playoff, not necessarily who else is in State Penn's bracket.

I see your point. Hopefully Ryan has made the most of the time.

I just think we need to roofie Day and let Chip and Jim run the game plan. I'm not sure if the positives outweigh the negatives with this guy.

When that UT DB started talking shit about how Ohio Stadium wasn't that loud, I kinda got the same feeling. Bulletin board material like that rarely goes well for the other team when they're playing OSU.

But another part of me has a sinking feeling Day's gonna have Hendo and Judkins running the wildcat all night for reasons.

It's impossible for me to get a feeling on this game. Day has been served a buffet of motivation by scUM the last couple years and crumbled from it, so I'm not counting on trash talking from UT to give us an edge. If he can channel his 2020 Sugar Bowl self, we can win by 3 TDs. But if he's the same guy we've seen all year, we have next to no chance. Hoping for the best, preparing for the worst with this one

Supposed to get a wintery mix starting soon. If there's more rain in that than snow, kids better have their skates sharpened for the game because it's going to be frozen solid.

That always gives the edge to the Offense but I'm guessing deep passing isn't going to happen. Going to be the slant that goes to the house or 3 yards and a sheet of ice.

Not good for pass rushers either, which doesn't hurt OSU at all.
