CFP Game: #9 Tennessee at #8 tOSU, Sat 12/21 8 ET on ABC/ESPN

This came out a few days ago so not sure if someone else posted but the All SEC teams came out. Tennessee had one defender on the first team (DL - Pearce Jr) and one on the 2nd team (McCoy - CB). None on the 3rd team.

I think some people are making too much of how good their defense is, especially their front 7. You play a schedule with Chattanooga, Kent State, UTEP, etc. and you only have 29 sacks on the year? Sorry, I'm not buying the level of fear some people are selling with them.

The above posts should be on Joel Klatt or Josh Pate. Makes me want to put vcash on the Buckeyes. Hope our guys don't read these, they won't get psyched up for the game. When Saban and Joey Sweetwater start touting the Tennessee guys, (SEC, because it just means more), I'll relax, or maybe wait until the clock ticks down in 4th quarter, to start getting ready for revenge game with Oregon. Until then, come join me on the ledge. Go Bucks!

Thousands of Ohio State fans excited for their chance to attend the first College Football Playoff game at Ohio Stadium experienced frustration on Thursday.
After season ticket holders claimed seats earlier in the week, tickets on sale to the general public Thursday sold out in minutes, leaving those thousands of fans to purchase seats on the resale market at much higher prices.
An Ohio State football spokesperson said Sunday that tickets for Ohio State-Tennessee would start at $100. Hours after the general public sale, however, resale tickets started at $245 in C deck and ran well over $1,000 in AA deck and Club Level. The most expensive ticket available on Ticketmaster is $3,600.
There are several reasons for the price hike, including, but not limited to: Ohio State-Tennessee being a historic event as the first CFP game at the Horseshoe, Tennessee fans traditionally traveling to road games in droves and – while unconfirmed by the Ohio State athletic department – the presale code to purchase tickets for the contest leaking online.
The battle between the Buckeyes and Volunteers will be the first CFP game at the Horseshoe and the first December game in the stadium's 102-year history. Ohio State head coach Ryan Day said Sunday that his team and Buckeye Nation should be excited to take part in that.
"We're excited about playing the first-ever playoff game in Ohio Stadium," he said. "Ohio Stadium's been around a long time, over 100 years. There's been a lot of great games, but never a playoff game like this. A night game, 8 o'clock, it's gonna be electric. Our guys are going to be excited about this."

Imagine getting your field stormed in the playoffs by the opposing teams fans who all purchased tickets at face value. Buttfuckjork can fjuck ojff.

Re: the orange invasion, good. Let their fans boo their when it's their team getting its ass kicked and their coach is going full retard.

Also, if there ends up being a ton of orange there and Day is puckering, then, maybe something like this will happen:

Tennessee is the Penn State of the SEC FWIW

1. Stupid stadium gimmicks (white out vs checkerboard Neyland)
2. Media obsession to overrate them and always hype them as true contenders
3. Trashy hillbilly fan bases
4. Always loses on the big stage
5.Overhype every starting QB like they're the second coming of Peyton Manning
6. Both struggle to have a real viable big time rival (tOSU has TCUN, Bama has the Barn, UGA has UF). Technically their main rivals are probably Rutgers/Vandy due to proximity.

Only difference is Pedsters have actually won a conference title this century and have played in at least one conference title game since 2010.

The result of this game will be similar to when tOSU plays the Pedsters.
All that said who’s really confident that we win?

I know I’m not. Frankly I think this is a bad matchup if I’m honest.

I think that’s partially because I love their offensive game plan. Formation us out of the box and then run it at a box that’s light. I think that’s also because when teams have been one dimensional we’ve allowed them to be that successfully. Indiana couldn’t throw so they ran. TCUN couldn’t throw so they ran. Oregon couldn’t really run so they passed.

It just seems like teams like this eventually figure out a way to move the ball. Then on the flip side I just don’t have any confidence in our OL to be consistent enough (or our offense explosive enough) to keep up

Relax, fellas. I was at the Peach Bowl 2 years ago and the narrative going in was that OSU fans would show up and occupy 30ish percent of Mercedes Benz Stadium. When push came to shove, I’d estimate that Georgia actually filled 85% of the stadium with their fans and it felt very partisan. Next Saturday will be the same situation for OSU. Tennessee fans might show up, but I guarantee they will be squashed by an enthusiastic OSU fansbase. Have some faith in this team and let’s will this squad to victory.

Fuck them Vols and go Bucks!
